How do I reenable it? I need to check up on some things :|

you should be able to run system profiler from your utilities folder i think.

But why is it greyed out in the first place? Have you repaired permissions? 🙂

It isn't useable by default on many restricted user account settings, so I'd check that too.

Strangely when it first came out of the box the button was disabled, but having installed 10.4.3 it reenabled itself..

Weird 😀
