N NCTRNL macrumors regular Original poster Nov 2, 2005 #1 I am trying to export a movie created in iMovie to a PC-compatible file type. I tried mpeg-4 and it didn't play on the PC. I don't want them to have to download QuickTime either. What file type should I go with?

bokdol macrumors 6502a Nov 2, 2005 #2 if you open the movie in quicktime you can export it to an avi file... hopefully they should be able to read that.. but you need quick time pro for it
