Yesterday the best pair of headphones I've ever had died. They last almost 3 years of daily use.

Here's what I had

So I'm looking for a pair of equal or greater quality. Now I realize I could just go buy the same pair, but after 3 years I want a bit of change. Price really isn't that much of an issue, I'm hoping for somewhere in the neighborhood of $100 give or take, as long as they last another 2-3 years. Also I'm only looking into unobtrusive in-ear headphones.

Google was somewhat helpful, but I'd like to get some current first hand opinions.
So any suggestions would be much appreciated 🙂

Etymotic HF-3, love mine and they sound great. Not sure what you mean by durable-if you take care of them they should last. 😎

How about a revised model of the headphones that died.

Klipsch Image s4i II $71.36 on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Klipsch-Image...70994209&sr=8-1&keywords=klipsch+image+s4i+ii

I've owned both models of the s4i and they're great as you know. The s4i's have the 3 button remote/mic designed for iPhone.

I got a pair of these as a warranty replacement for the S4i, which had been fairly durable but eventually quit working. The right ear on the s4i II just quit working after about 2 months. I'm not sure any durable earbuds exist.
