Mac mini and screen sharing

I use my Mac mini, which is plugged to my TV, as my media server. I also use the screen sharing function (via Wifi) to control the mini. What I noticed is that everything looks kind of blurry. When I change from adaptive to full quality the screen becomes a little bit sharper but not so much to compensate the lower speed. I mean the quality is ok when I use screen sharing for some minutes. But after 15 minutes I have to stop because it gets so annoying. I was wondering if this is normal or if it's likely that my WiFi connection is too slow. I need to add I control my mini with a MB Air (2011), which is connected to a Router. And this router is only capable to transfer up to 300 Mbit/s via WiFi.
Thank you.

If your Mini is connected to a 1080p display you're probably seeing artifacts of the image scaling from 1920x1080 down to your MBA resolution (1280x800 or 1344x756 depending on whether it's an 11" or 13"). Basically unavoidable.

I get the same thing when going from my MBPro to my Mac Mini. mini is connected to a 24" LED Cinema Display @ 1920x1200 and the MBPro is 1440x900 and is blurry.

Screen Sharing from my Mini to the MBPro is fine.

As previous poster said is just an issue of putting a downscaling the larger display onto the lower res screen.

You can also use Chicken of the VNC or something like that instead of Screen Sharing, but then you have to scroll.
I find Screen sharing downscaled acceptable, but hey, I run it over gigabit too. Which you should do. Mini and MBP are both having Gbit ports.

Try using VNC instead. ( http://www.realvnc.com ). I found that to be much better then any screen sharing or remote desktop etc etc. I'm also using WiFi from my MBA at 300mbps. It's OK - I'm using it to manage the iTunes on the connected device.
