I'm new to all this so I'm sorry if this questions seems a little strange.
When the time comes to download iOS 7, what happens about all the additional applications I installed since I purchased my iphone 5?
Will I need to download and instal them all again?
I don't mind about all the freebies but what about the rest?

Cheers. :)

Like any iOS update your apps will remain. You'll not have to re-download them

Assuming it works as it has done before . . .

When iOS 7 is released as the public version you'll be able to update in the same way as you do with version changes now on iOS 6 - very easily.

Unfortunately an extremely small minority of people will have a glitch during the upgrade process but the vast majority will be fine.
