Probably a unique situation that not many people have tried to work through. I have a 1.83 Core 2 Duo Mini. Like so many before me, I ripped the audio cable when installing a new hard drive. Luckily I had a iMic USB adapter, and the sound runs through that just fine.
When I boot in XP using Boot Camp, the iMic works fine for sound as well.
When I installed Windows 7, the iMic shows up as the audio adapter, but there is no sound. The little sound icon in the system tray shows up as an error, and the troubleshooter does nothing.
Has anyone had any luck getting an iMic to work in Windows 7 on a Mac?
