iPhone 4S design or iPhone 5?

Just wanted to see what people thought.

Would you rather have the iPhone 4S design with the 4inch display or the IPhone 5?

For me there is still something about the 4S design. The glass on the back and stainless steel. Id prefer the 4inch display in the 4S design.

Definitely the 5, but I do like the blackness of the 4/4s. Sometimes the black 5 looks blue depending on how you look at it.

Not even close. The 5 may be the most beautiful thing Ive has ever crafted.

The 4/4S feels clunky next to the 5 IMO.

Still like the solid heavy feel of the 4S over the 5, not to mention the lack of the aluminum material that is giving many grief on scratches...

Grass cracks and chips. I'll take scratches and scuffs over that any day. But I do agree that I want to be the one putting those scratches there, not having them right out of the box.

Back when the iPhone 5 was being leaked, I thought I absolutely hated it (and was somewhat vocal about it  )

Now that I actually own one and have seen it in person, it's (one of) the most beautiful smartphone I've seen (it ties with the HTC One)

I prefer the solid glass feel of the 4s and the smaller screen size.

Is really a moot point to ponder, we will buy what Apple sells. Perhaps u edge-to-edge screen folks may see something like if Apple extrapolates their edge-to-edge IOS7.

Neither.

I've got both and they are a compromise that doesn't reflect Apples best work.

The iPhone 5 is currently being used as my secondary smartphone, as I am extremely happy and completely satisfied with my Galaxy S4.

I'll hold out a year or so, to see if Apple brings the iPhone 6 (or whatever they call it) up to competitive specs and include a modern sized display like one gets with a premium Android phone.

have you used the 5 yet ? cause that was my first initial reaction with the 5 design, I thought it would be too fragile with all aluminium body. until I own and use it, the 5 is by far the best iPhone design yet.

iPhone 5. Only need one side with glass. Less chance of damage if dropped.

I'd take the 4S all day long. Preferred that design over the iPhone 5 in almost every way, expect maybe weight.

Also, while a glass back poses the risk of shatter, Apple will replace that with OEM parts for $30. Let's see a bent/dinged/scuff iPhone 5 "back" get replaced for under $100...

I like the 5 design more, but I do miss the heft of the 4. It just felt more solid in hand. The 5 feels so light.

I think 4s with 4" display is better. Especially, design of iphone 4s backside is very beautiful.

The 4s feels better in the hand, higher quality. The 5 is obviously the better device. My opinion - it should have been a bigger size. This iPhone 5/5S gap where they only elongated the screen is kind of lame. Should have been a tad wider as well and the low cost iPhone should have retained the size of the 4s.
