Hmm, this may be for "evaluation" purposes as some say, but that doesn't make a lot of sense to me. If I was a graphics engineer in Apple evaluating a new card I'd simply hack it and try it on my desk. If there weren't plans to include it in the OS why bother going through putting it in VCS etc?
