Okay, here's the story: I cloned my PB's hard drive to an external hd, and did a clean install of tiger. Now, I need my emails back. Where do I find them in my cloned drive?

Mail stores most of its data (including mail) in ~/Library/Mail, where ~ is your home folder.

You click on the face in your Dock and then go into Library and there's no Mail? Not even a Mail Downloads? 🙁

Yeah, I've got it there. It's just not present on my cloned backup HD.

BTW, where are Safari favorties stored?

Make sure you're looking in the right Library folder (there are several). On your cloned disk, are you looking in /Users/[username]/Library/ or /Library/ (you want to be looking the the former)?

Safari bookmarks are stored in ~/Library/Safari/Bookmarks.plist.

re installing my mail account and info

I just reinitialized my mac and reinstalled my system, I saved my mail folder out of my library and when I drag it back into my new library folder the mail program does not recognized it and wants to start as if I am a first time user.. any help from the mac gurus whould be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
