Hi,

I keep getting key imprints on the screen of my 2012 MBA - I know its skinny - but are the toleances that tight?

Do I need to take it to apple to get adjusted - or do I need to cover the keys with something before closing it.

If anyone else has experienced this - how did you get it resolved?

Thanks

I don't have this problem.

When closed, stick a piece of paper in there to find out whether you have an air gap.If no gap, ask Apple if they can adjust the hinge for u for some extra clearance.

Also if this is in your backpack, you want to refrain from placing books on top of it, specially for a 13"

I have always used Radtech ScreenSavrz since my 2006 MBP that had metalic keys that would mark the screen. I have had no issues since with any of my computers.

They are cheap, easy and can be used to clean/polish the screen as well.
