Looking at the refurb.me site at the 15" MBP (because that's what I want):

There are a LOT less available MBPs in the refurb apple store. Perhaps this means nothing, but I know I've been waiting since like thursday for my MBP to become available, and the stock keeps getting smaller and smaller.

Maybe the regular stock is as well? Or maybe I'm just looking for something to do since I can't have my new computer yet...

Apple refub inventory changes constantly, sometimes several times per day. The availability of items on the refurb store is driven by what products are returned to Apple. It has nothing to do with the release or pending release of new models. This has been discussed dozens of times over the years in this forum, and has never been shown to be an indicator of upcoming product releases.

Well I hadn't dealt with it long enough to know, it just seemed like there are less and less available every time! But I believe you.

Particular stock of certain retinas does change regularly, but it would be time for the retina stock from the mini update in february to start showing up though...

There are a few 2.7's on there, that's from that update right?

Oh- if I buy a refurb 2.6 (if they ever show up again...) and then the 2.7 shows up for the same(ish) price, could I return mine and just buy back the new one?

Also- why the heck is the "last seen: time counting down? It was at "3d 21h" yesterday, then 3d 19h now 3d 3h?

Within two weeks yes....

I now see that there are 13" retina early 2013 models that have shown up in the refurb....I would say 15" early 2013 refurbs must be close to showing up now.

Are they the same price as the 2012 ones were? I just ordered my 2012...

EDIT- nevermind I can see lol. Duh.

Worth returning my 2012 model for a 2013 model if its like 80-100 dollars more?

2013 models are only .1 Ghz faster IIRC?

No then.

I've heard they're less likely to lag as well. I guess I'll just wait and see how mine is before I think about it!

The speed would be negligible.

The lag is mostly been with Safari & Chrome and that has been fixed now via software.
