trying to install the new adobe creative cloud. the cc manager installs but crashes every time I try and run it. any workarounds known? thanks

Creative Cloud installer crashes

I did a clean install with Maverick and then I wanted to download my Creative Cloud installer, but it crashes every time and give me the error code A12E1.
I have tried everything Adobe suggest and nothing works.

Have any of you encountered this?
