I live in a two story 1700sf home. I have a Linksys E1500 wifi router. Mounted about 4' up on the side of the wall. The range seems to be pretty poor. In the same room as router, full bars, 15mb down. Next room over-30ft, a few walls and hallways, 3 bars, 5-7kbps. Upstairs, 50' or so away, 4 walls, etc, I get 2-4mbps download. I have tried resetting, latest firmware, changing channels, etc. I can't seem to get more range. I don't believe it's the iPhone as ipods and Xbox have similar speeds at the same ranges. Any ideas?

sooooooooooooo youre questioning whether your linksys router is at fault since you dont think its the iphone/ipad/xbox? if so, wrong forum??

try a different router if you think theres something wrong with the one you have or maybe its your ISP.
