Hi Guys

My iTunes is large at nearly 2tb and is on a 3tb external HDD. But i'm getting annoyed to keep the hard drive plugged into my macbook pro. I have 500gb of space on my MBP and so i want to move everything except TV Shows & Movies to my MBP. Then i only have to plug the hard drive in when watching i movie or show then i need to point iTunes to the external hard drive to access the TV shows and movies.

Whats the best way to do this?

Thanks

Matt

My own personal opinion would be to buy an old Mac Mini, plug the external hdd to that, point iTunes to that library and leave it in a corner somewhere. Then you'll see it as a Home Share on your MBP and ATV
