Calendar App no alert with launching App?

In ML I could have the calendar open an app at a specified time. I don't see that option in the new calendar. Am I missing it or is it done in a new way?

Well it's a start.

OK. I found that choosing "custom alert" allows me to choose "open file" but
I'm never given the option to actually choose a file.
