I've just started running GeekTool and I've only got three scripts running: calendar, computer processes and iTunes song display. However, GeekTool Helper is taking up 17% of my CPU and I feel like that is waaaay too much, is there any way I can lower this number? Thanks.

Increase refresh intervals for your geeklets to something sensible.

The helper itself uses little to none CPU.
