I was a student at the Ohio State University and took a general computer class in 1985. Got to use an IBM PC. I also worked for my sister and brother-in-law's business, and they had PC's, too. They had monochrome green screens -- better than the "blue screen" later available in Windoze.
;-) Anyway, I thought the computers (i.e. PC's) were pretty amazing, and wanted to get one as soon as we could afford it. As a music major, I wanted a computer that would do something with MIDI recording and music notation. What a nice surprise to find a GUI and the Mac. I "switched" right then and bought a 512K enhanced. Many Macs later, we're still Mac fans. Merry Christmas, everybody!
