How to Show Size of Multiple Files
I have been using OS X since 10.0, but I never knew how to show the size of multiple files until this morning.
I was wondering if anyone else wanted to know, it seems quite hidden:
Press Option+Command+I on one file (or right click and hold Option and click on Show Inspector)
While holding down Command, select any other files you want to see the total size of.
Simple, yes, but never knew it and though it may help some people out!
MacBook Pro | iMac | iPhone 5 | iPod shuffle | iPad Air | Apple TV

In Finder, select an item. Then click one of the menus in the menubar, so it drops down. Now press and release the OPTION key. Do any menu-items change their wording? (Test case: the Get Info item under the File menu.)
Move to the next menu and repeat.
Then select multiple items and repeat.
