I've been using FCP X for about a year now and only recently I've noticed a few things that have been driving me insane for the past few months.
First off, I have two separate video files edited together like so:

But the timing of both the videos need to be in sync, but for some reason, final cut thinks the video files are shorter than they actually are.
Here's the timestamp of the video:

And this is what Final Cut says:

I know the time is off for just a second or two, but this really becomes a massive hassle when everything goes out of sync towards the end of the video. I've tried retiming the videos so they're at the right time, but that just screws up the audio and becomes an even bigger hassle.
If anyone knows how to work their way around this, please let me know.
