Hello there.

Ive installed a new hard drive connecting cable, and a new SSD.

I've now formatted and 10.6 is installed from the DVD.
How do I update to 10.8, to where which i was originally?? So i can re-download and get FCP X and my other apps etc....

When I select the App store icon, its greyed out and i get a message saying you cant use this version of the app with this version of Mac OS X, you need 10.7 or 10.8....??

If you reinstalled 10.6 from a disk, likely you installed version 10.6.3, and version 10.6.6 is required for the App Store. Try going to the Apple menu and selecting Software Update, updating to the latest version of 10.6, and the App Store should work at that point.

I'm on 10.6.8
The the app store icon - it wont let me activate the store????
I can't update to 10.8 and/or retrieve my previously purchased apps!!
:(

Not sure if it related but, after doing the fresh install to 10.6, apple.com thinks I'm in the US, so have to pop down to the flag at the bottom of the page and revert to UK......how do i make UK default?
Maybe iTunes thinks the same.....
