Flash drive doesn't work on my MacBook, but works on Aunt's G5?

I juts bought a 16GB PNY Micro Sleek Attache flash drive. I got home, plugged in into my MacBook and nothing happened. Nothing mounted on my Desktop, nothing showed up in Disk Utility, and nothing showed up in Syetem Profiler. I took it and plugged it into my Aunt's PowerMac G5 and it works perfectly. It came formatted as FAT32, I reformatted it on the G5 as OS X Extended just to see if that made a difference, but still won't work on my MacBook...

Im probably just going to go return it, but I cant figure out why it would work on an old G5, but not on my MacBook??
