Looking for a CDRW to add into my G4....

Hello All,
I just bought a new Dual Gig G4 with a superdrive but no additional optical drive. Now I think I should have added an internal CDRW with it.... How hard is it for someone to add it? And what do you recommend I get.... speed is a factor....😕 😕 😕

Check out http://forums.xlr8yourmac.com/drivedb/search.drivedb.lasso for options on CD-RW drives.

Can't remember about the specifics, but some of them made it sound like size of the units may come into play.

if you can open the cpu case, you can prolly install it yourself. all it takes is a lift of a lever.

i have easily taken apart two LAPTOPS in my day, and i have no tech training at all. so, my point being, if you have the guts, you can do it!
