Hi

I have a 2012 27" iMac (i7 / 32GB / 1TB Fusion / 680mx).

I got it in April. 2 weeks after I got it the power supply failed and needed to be replaced. 3 weeks ago I send it again to repair because of screen ghosting. They have replaced my screen. We don't have a official Apple Store in Israel so my computer had to ship back to the U.S. for this.

Now, my build-in webcam is not working. I have tried to use it on different users and on different applications (Flash, Skype, and Photo Booth) - did not help. Also restarting didn't fixed the problem.

The Mac is identifying the webcam. I can see that on the System Information under the USB tab.

Is this something I can fix without opening the screen or send it back to the technician? I don't want to wait another 2-3 weeks without my main work-station.

The shop that I got it from will not replace it to a new one, unless Apple will allow them to (which means shipping times again).

Please help!
