I have posted in several threads here where people were having problems with Yahoo Mail constantly requiring Mac Mail to request a login. My work around to this problem was to take Yahoo Mail offline and only go online when I wanted to retrieve mail (which I did once a day or so). By doing that, Mail never asked me for the account login password. I also switched my main mail account to GMail and only used the Yahoo account for internet sites that required an email address (and I didn't one them to have my main one).
Yesterday, I forgot to take the Yahoo Mail offline and....Yaaahhooooo!!!, it has not yet asked me for a login password
Could it be that Yahoo really is getting its act together?
