Hi all!

I received my mac mini two days ago and I installed 2 same exact SSDs with the OWC kit. These are Adata sx900 128gb SSDs. I made a raid 0 volume with 32kb stripe-unit. The read speed is +/- 800 mb/s but the problem is the write speed. I only got +/- 320 mb/s...

Is anyone have an idea why I got these poor write performance?

Thanks!

Specs show:

128GB Performance (ATTO) :
Read: Up to 555MB/S
Write: Up to 530MB/S
Multimedia Data Transfer (AS-SSD)
Read : Up to 470MB/S
Write : Up to 180MB/S
MAX 4K write IOPS up to 90K

I'm not an expert on what atto or as-SSD is but the latter suggests your speeds could be correct as read is 470 and write is 180. That would give you about those speeds you show in a RAID-0 config.

128gb SSDs are often slower than larger SSDs.
