I am expecting it to split in January as happened at the start of this year and am speculating that they will probably split when the stock gets to around $90 a share as was the case last time. I am also hoping the stock splits so i can get me some Apple shares next year when my financial situation will allow it. I could buy them now but I need the money for other important events.

Good question... I don't know how many Walkmans Sony sold. It's the staggering sales growth rate that bugs out my eyes. No sign of a plateau yet. Astonishing!

Thanks. Well that's a good news-bad news number then. At the rate iPod sales are growing, they'll hit 300 million in another year or two. Then what? Sony didn't exactly have an Act II. Let's hope Apple does!

That 300 million took Sony 20 or so years. What Apple is doing is amazing.
