iPad Mini WiFi issue

Whenever my wife wakes up her iPad mini it loses its wifi connection. She has to go through the trouble of forgetting the network and reconnecting. We have three iPhones, other iPads and an iMac all on the same network and they never have this problem. Any suggestions how to fix the mini's problem?
