Help with not letting my external harddrive show up on windows

Hi guys.

I run Parallels on my mac, and I figured out how to file share between mac and windows, but my external harddrive which is formatted to mac is also being shared, I would like for it to be shared, but how do get my external harddrive to show up on my mac again, I would really like help with this.

This one's easy. With Parallels and the VM running, I'm assuming, bring up the menu bar. There's probably a Machine or Devices option somewhere (I haven't used Parallels in so long, I don't remember the name of the thing you need). In there you'll find the external HDD. Tell Parallels to connect it to the Mac instead of the Windows VM.
