I've been looking through the forums to see if anyone else has had this problem but I noticed that in the 10.4.3, in System profiler, my powerbook no longer shows that it has the ability to burn DVD+R or +RW and Toast 7 no longer gives the option either. I haven't tried it out yet because I don't have any spare DVD's around, but it looks like it's support has been dropped from this update. I mean, yeah sure, the powerbooks DVD+R/+RW burning capabilities were a bit flaky to begin with; I still can't help feeling like apple just cut out a bit of my machine's functionality, like there is a bit of untapped power hidden now. (by the way, My powerbook is a 15" 1.67 rev. D moderately equipped). Am I the only one?
