Hey was hoping for some help!

My Mac wont recognize the existence of my wifi router.

It had previously recognized it for a period of around 8 months, then one day, it just disapeared from the list of routers.

My girlfriends pc and my android are still connected to the router so i dont think it is the router.

I have already tried restarting with the wifi deleted from network configuration but when i logged back on and saw my routers name i tried to connect but then got a 'timeout error' message, and then the option for my router disapeared again!

I've tried deleting all my preferred connections, but i still cannot get the mac to even recognize the existence of my router. I've been leaching someone elses wifi for the last 2 weeks but they eventually caught on and put on a password..

Anyone got any solutions?
