cracked the top left corner as seen in the picture.

anyone know of a case/skin that will cover this ugly defect?

Maybe a skin that you can find on ebay or amazon for cheap or try skin it. They come in various colors/styles.

I cracked a corner of mine and used a skin (white carbon via eBay) but I now also use a case similar to the link posted but its a griffin portfolio which is perfect for me and plenty of styles.

I used an iVisor screen protector before I fixed my cracked glass iPad 3. It covers the bezel with either white or black. There are other manufactures of similar screen protectors. They only have adhesive around the perimeter so it is supposed to be bubble-free. It is the only type of screen protector I use.
