NC/CC Lock Screen indicators' colors reversed?

Notice how in the screenshot, the top of the screen is blue and the bottom is violet, but the colors of the two pill-shaped swipe indicators are reversed—the top is violet and the bottom is blue, as if the background behind each indicator's counterpart were being sampled. What is going on here?

CC is white glass. NC is black glass. The indicators are samples of the features they indicate.

It's likely simply like that for better visibility against the background color that is behind those pull tab indicators.
