I just bought a used Macbook OS X Version 10.5.6, year 2008 I think. Safari is SO MESSED UP. Works like garbage, constantly glitching in so many ways. I don't understand why. There is no update for it and I have updated other things on my Mac that would have anything to do with it. I also am unable to download any other browsers, or skype. My camera is also not working with ichat but working with photobooth. I don't understand what is wrong with the macbook it is perfectly fine condition but it seems to be needing a certain update or something. This is my first Mac. Please any suggestions.

have you try to reset Safari ?
