MBA Screen goes black sometimes??

are you sure it's not going to sleep? next time it happens see if the wifi is reconnecting when it comes back on.

if that's the case for you then yes - this does appear to be an issue - the genius bar folks pretend it isn't.

i think it's something going on with the way ML plays with SSDs because it happens on my air and on my old MBP w/ a SSD.

Some people have had luck going into energy saving an unchecking "put hard drives to sleep" but this hasn't resolved the issue for me either.

if this isn't your issue then yes, it could be a loose connection or a weird setting. does it happen while you are typing?

Known issue. Search the forum. My new 13"MBA blacks out 2-3 times a day and recovers when I press a key on the keyboard on click the trackpad.
