i have just become the owner of a new iMac, i have previously had a run of the mill computer and could download whatever i wanted. I use an app called Soundfrost but the mac is telling me that it is not compatable with apple software.
I have just tried using You Tube downloader and its come up with a black box saying illegal download detected.....sigh
I am now thinking that i should of stuck to the run of the mill... any suggestions on a free download site that i can use ??

Just curious... what do you mean by a "run of the mill computer"?

There are many ways to download youtube videos, assuming you are observing the copyright laws involved. Also, ways to separate the video from the audio, again, assuming you observe the copyright laws.

There are different products called Soundfrost... one is a mac app... another is a windows app that comes with a dubious online service... which one are you talking about?

Cheers!
