I have a white mid 2009 Macbook 5,2 and I am trying to locate a hard drive caddy for the optical bay. I have searched Amazon and OWC however neither list my particular model, so its confusing which ones are compatible.

Can anyone suggest one that is compatible from either Amazon or elsewhere? I am located in Canada so Amazon.ca would be preferable.

Thanks

Thats the thing, everywhere I've looked so far, does not list my model, they list models starting in MB, mine starts in MC.

The one posted above will work. They're all the same part. It's either a PATA or a SATA optical interface. You have the newer SATA interface. You can use any hard drive caddy that was designed for a unibody Macbook.

You can use any optibay designed for a unibody Macbook. They take the same optical drive model with the same mounting screws and the same connector.
