I just got an Iomega Portable CDRW drive and it says it will run at 4x if USB 1.1 and 20X if USB 2.0
Does the TiPB667/OS 10.2.3 support usb 2.0?

No mac has USb 2 on it (except power macs with third party cards). its a different hardware standard, and not one currently supported by apple at all. USb 2 devices will work at USb 1 speeds. Don't expect USb 2 until firewire 2 comes out at twice the speed of USb 2.

That said, why not just get a firewire drive. Its just as fast as USb 2 in the real world. Also, some 667 mhz powerbooks already had CD-RW built in.

OSX has drivers for USB 2.0 if I'm not mistaken.
The built-in ports are only 1.1, but since the Tibook has a PC card slot, get a USB 2.0 PC card and you should be all set.

yeah

OSX has drivers for USB 2 in 10.1.5 but not in 10.2 🙁 so if you have jag your outta luck.
