I just wanted to ask what are the first apps and software you install in your MBs when you first bought it? I just got mine yesterday and so far I only have Firefox, Skype and Pages. I think I'm missing out on a lot.

For me it was iWork, Paint(just needed a simple sketch program here and there), Checkbook HD...and that was it app wise. I like to keep my MBA lean, if I don't absolutely need it on the go, it's not on there.

There are many existing threads with app recommendations that you may find useful. Which apps you use is determined by what you intend to accomplish, not necessarily what others use. It also has nothing to do with which Mac model you have, as apps run on all models.
