I had set my macbook to shutdown after an hour while I was uploading a file with two desktops open through mission control. I had shutdown firefox before the comp shutdown and everything was fine. when i started the computer and firefox i was asked to install divx plus and an adobe plugin. I found all my internet history deleted, but the bookmarks were still there. I've tried using time machine, but it just asks to 'set up time capsule' and opens air utility. on the trouble shooting information page of firefox, the 'places.history.expiration. current max pages' value is over a hundred thousand. is there a way to recover the history? i'm also using a data recovery program, what files should i look for that could help restore the session?
