Resolved SSD from MacBook Retina in a MacBook Air

Hello everyone,

I am planning to take out the 512GB SSD from my MacBook Retina (ME665 N/A) and put it in my MacBook Air (MD760N/A),
but I was wondering if the SSD will work perfectly in my MacBook Air and as fast as the standard SSD that was inside my MacBook Air.

Hope to get some help.
