Hey,

I have this problem. I wanted to use CD on friends Macbook pro 13", but I did not notice it had CD drive. I thought It was the one without so I connected super drive. Super drive would not accept the CD when i noticed, that the MB had its own CD drive so I pulled out the super drive ( I didnt disconected it in Lion and than pulled out USB) and after that the normal CD drive in MB doesnt want to accept the CD.

When I open the disk utility there is SuperDrive but I cant do anything about it.

I tried to delete main disk, reinstal Lion, ejecting from iTunes and at start up by holding down mouse button on start up but nothing is inside and nothing worked. You think restarting SMC or PRAM could help?

Please help !

MB PRO 13" mid 2012
2.5 GHz Intel Core i5
OSX Lion 10.7.5
