I know i know, I've read countless threads about this, but my issue isn't with the HDD..its with the CPU and Optical. Now i had previously upgraded the hard drive and purchased the sensor for the 27 inch iMac, which solved that problem, but the issue today with after i removed the optical drive and installed a SSD. I kept the sensor and put it back onto the SSD which im not sure i was supposed to do, but i think i damaged the lcd sensor. As you can see in the attched image, the LCD prox shows nothing..???
Besides HDD fan control, are there any other tools to set the max for CPU and Optical fans? The odd thing is that the fans don't get lound/fast for anywhere between 30-60 minutes.
