I use my iPhone to play music in my car. Whenever I happen to wake the phone or otherwise use the phone in any way, the audio skips momentarily, just like the old Discman days.

Anyone else seeing this problem or should I perhaps go for a full-wipe again?

Same issue here with iPhone 4. Audio playback via bluetooth connection (have not tried via headphones/wired connection) is interrupted for a second or two anytime another function of the phone is attempted. This includes sending/receiving mail, unlocking the phone, scrolling, opening apps, closing apps, etc. This happens both with sounds muted and unmuted. Also happens with keyboard/click sounds both activated and deactivated.

I've been using GM release for several days and so far this is the only bug I've experienced. Can't really complain. Overall, I'm loving iOS 7.

yes, this is become a serious problem for me as i play alot of bluetooth music from my phone. i have iphone 5 and the problem is getting worse. it plays 30 sec of song and skips to the next song. i pay alot of money for the ford raptor 2013 AND the iphone. i wish they could play nice together, although apple is coming out with the ios in cars for the media player,,, cant wait for that.

I think the OS may have a slightly higher CPU overhead

I noticed that with IOS7 playiing Spotify in background, simple tasks I'd do in the foreground would make Spotify stop/stutter etc - which I don't ever remember with IOS6

that - plus seemingly noticeably lower battery life

I've flashed back to IOS6 - battery seems better now I've flashed back but its always hard to judge as very usage dependant - but I'm currently on 14% charge left, after 3hr55 usage, and 1 day 1 hour standby - which for a 3 year old phone is not bad going
