Finger Gestures starting to lag...Help?

Had my 15" Retina since December. All has been fine but now I am encountering a few problems. The 3 finger swipe upwards is working however it is laggy now and I do not know why. It was fine before and now it isnt a smooth transition.

Any ideas on how to fix this?
