iPad Problem with Touchpal for Ipad

I want to get the touchpal app for my ipad. I downloaded the app from cydia and my ipad is jailbroken. I also downloaded the app from the apple store. I am currently running IOS 5.1. However when I change the keyboard to the international version of touchpal (english). I get this series of boxes when I try and type. Any ideas?
