So Apple keeps bragging about console quality graphics with the new A7 chip, and presumably the A7X would be the same chip but with quad core graphics.
I was thinking, if the A7X or even A6X is so powerful, just how powerful is it? How would it say compare to a PS3? PS3 games are usually at 1280x720, is based on 2006 hardware, whereas iPad has 2012/2013 hardware. Could iPad play say Splinter Cell Blacklist (the PS3 version, not a potentially stripped down mobile version, like Conviction was for iOS) power wise as well as a PS3 does, especially with an external game controller?
It'd be really sweet to be able to play PS3 quality games on an iPad
iPad gaming is great except for the fact that the touchscreen controls really suck, I'm excited for game controllers being supported now. Now just see if there's some games out there I like!
