Nano will not power down... help?
I have a 2GB Nano which worked wonderfully... until yesterday.
During use I got an onscreen message (which is still there) stating:
Firewire connections are not supported. To transfer songs, connect using the USB cable provided.
I have always connected through USB and have never used a firewire cable. Since this message appeared the unit WILL NOT power down.
I have tried the following:
1) Reset player by following manufacturer's instructions.
2) Downloaded current software (found that I was already using it).
3) Restored by running 'Updater 2005-10-12
I am still seeing the same message onscreen and the unit will not power down...
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
