My phone rattles when vibrating. Sounds like something loose inside? Does anyone have the same issue?

Oh man... Again... It's like every iPhone release, why can't apple get this right.

Okay maybe I've used the wrong word... Its more like a buzzing sound..

Ok I'll explain...

The lense in the camera floats and will rattle unless your using the camera as the focus is powered by an electro magnet. So when it's off it's floating. When your phone is vibrating (ringing) it can trigger this rattle. It's 100% normal.

You can find the odd thick genius that'll swap it out for you but most know this is normal now.

I was curious about this same rattle until i jumped up here and did some browsing around and they said it was normal!

Just tried this with my phone and the rattle is gone when shaking.. The buzzing sound is still present though. I guess it's really the camera.. My girlfriend's Gold 16GB doesn't have it.

Could also be a loose power button or volume buttons. Try holding all 3 lightly and open the camera and shake...

Same problem here

I don't think this is normal the noise is rattling and it looks like it has a loose power button. Ughh i don't feel like driving to apple

It's a combination of the sleep button and camera on my 5S, but primarily the sleep button. The button has about the same clearances and wiggle room as the same button on my 5, but the 5's button is perkier & sticks out a little further whereas the 5S button is slightly more flush to the frame and thus feels looser.

Who cares unless the button is so loose it falls out. lol

Mine is the same, but I can live with it.
