POLL* How many 'settled' for a Space Grey 5S?

At first I wanted space gray but after seeing the White/Silver model at the store I really wanted it. But ya I settled for the space gray.

grey is what I wanted. no issue here.

Ordered through best buy, and they only had the space grey available. I originally wanted white or gold, but now that I have the grey I really like it!

Wanted Grey, closest thing to the color combo I've wanted for a long time

Space gray was always my first choice. I just can't see guys caring around white or gold phones. My AT&T store thought only had 64GB in space gray.

After having three black 5's all chip I got Apple to send me a White 5. I rolled the dice on the dark side again today after seeing the gray in person. I really like it and i'm hoping it stays on the phone this time LOL

Well, I just think it looks feminine for a guy to carry around a white phone. Now it would be nice if the front was black and the back was silver.

I had a white 4s and wanted the white 5s. I thought it looked really sharp. My wife was 30th in line at the Apple store and still couldn't get white. Oh well. I bought it for the phone not the color.

I completely settled for Space Grey .... for now.

I've since decided to just order an unlocked 32Gold.
I was first in line when the lady came by and asked which size do you want, then followed that up with ok 32GB Grey ok. I said no, 32GB Gold, surely being the very first in line I can get that.... nope. No ATT stores around here got any white models.

I bought it but I really want the gold. I might take it back.

Gray

Wanted the gold or silver, but Apple Store only had stock for first the five people in line, and I was 21. (Got there at 3AM) So I took the little card and went in to look at the color before deciding. In the end, I got the gray, thinking I'd swap it within 30 days if they got the gold or silver (their suggestion, not mine, don't flame me.)

Now that I've had it most of the day, I actually like the black. As with my old phone, it makes the phone look bigger when it's off. Plus, it's in a case, so it's not like I'd see the silver or gold anyway.

My daughter also wanted gold, got gray. She's now thinking she'll keep it, as she actually likes it.

So at the end of the day, none of us feel like we settled.

The Masters of marketing, all those people that settled for space grey are now on the hook for the next iPhone for gold

I wasn't heart set on the silver but I had intended to get it because as of yet I've never owned a white faced iPhone. But we were 25th in line and all they had for Verizon was Space Gray. So guess what I got? Space Gray. I'm still super pleased. It runs amazing. And soon enough it will be in a case that will render what color the metal is irrelevant.

There were only two gold at my Apple store!

I'm only settling for gray because of the black face, otherwise I would have gotten the gold one for sure.

No, that was my choice also.
Besides, can't see the back because of the Otter Box condom.

I ordered a gray (my first choice) and a silver one for the wife. Never consider the gold but can always exchange for one in the future.

I love the gray. I got exactly what I went in for. I got in line at about 9:05 this morning and people had been lined up since 3am. Right as I was getting to the door they came out saying they had received another shipment of AT&T silver and gold so there were a few very happy people behind me.

White iPhones are for women. No, not really, but personally it was spaced gray or nothing.

I wanted silver, but I did settle for gray.
