Which is the best music client?

I used Spotify for a while and I was fine with it.
I didn't need to pay it because it was inclused in my subscription plan.

Since I don't want to pay monthly for it 10$, which is the best alternative for free?

I'd like one that works like Spotify: You can listen in streaming but also save for off-line play.

I will not go for iTunes/Music because I need to save music on my Mac and always need to sync iPhone/Mac. I don't want to sync :D

Is there something for free? Thank$
